About the Book

NIGHT OF A THOUSAND DREAMS is a personal journey through the difficulties and mysteries of life. It is the endeavor of one Soul to understand the shadows and light that we all live. The stories, dreams, and challenges presented in this manuscript attempt to simplify many abstract and ancient concepts. The beauty of truth is that it is simple…not complex. The chapter Essence of Gold speaks to the nuggets of gold (truths) which are often twisted so tightly by conventional religion that their sacred intent and meaning is lost. Storytelling is an art that weaves the light of truths into the common stories of humanities struggles. These stories serve as an inspiration for me to keep moving forward on my journey. They reveal the spectrum of human emotions. This collection of spiritual stories is my attempt as a storyteller to inspire others to share their unique perspectives and truths.

About the Author

I was born with a vivid imagination, past life recall, and insights into the future. From early childhood, I knew that I saw the world differently than those around me. My “old-time Christian” upbringing caused me stress and worry, because I knew that I could never live as purely as Jesus. I was told that my dreams and visions were imagination (at best) or the devil trying to tempt me into hellfire and brimstone. I was on a mission to find the mystery behind the veil of death and the purpose of a human life.

My father gave me a great gift when I was only ten years old. He told me that if I wanted to be wise, I was to seek my answers from within. This philosophy originated with the ancient Greek masters whose motto was “Know Thyself.” In the journey of my lifetime I have learned to have faith in this process and faith in the words of Jesus, “Ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be opened.”

I experienced the 1970’s “peace and love movement” in Boulder, Colorado. At that time, I prayed for a teacher to be sent to me: I was sent two. One was an extraordinary man who studied the Edgar Cayce material and the other a beautiful farm woman who worked with him to do psychic reading. I was taught the art of Spiritual Regressions and healings, and was blessed to work with them for many years. This manuscript is a personal journey through the debris of life and into the mystical journey of Soul.

The “End of Days” prophesies are swirling all around and the Mayan Calendar ends in 2012; it is my intent that this manuscript will inspire faith, hope, love, understanding, and dreams of a future where Love reigns on this planet… not fear.
