About the Author

Philip Finkle was born near the Mississippi River in Muscatine, Iowa. He grew up mostly in central Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. He has been an optical lab technician, factory worker, truck driver, social worker, hod carrier, warehouseman, soldier, grocery worker and desk clerk. He currently lives near the banks of the Mississippi River in St. Louis, Missouri.
