Lidabell is a much loved and respected senior minister of a mainline church in this affluent and conservative town of New Canaan, and she’s telling me that after-death communications (ADCs) “happen all the time.” Moreover, her predecessor experienced a dramatic ADC and told the congregation about it on an Easter Sunday. At least three times in May, I ask Susan to send me a message from the other side that she's okay. “But Susan, don't scare me.” The last time I bring it up she says matter-of-factly, “I'll do it.” She speaks in a strange voice with such quiet authority I’m taken aback. I never mention it again. Wednesday, July 12, 2000. Susan dies in her sleep at five o’clock in the morning. In her last days on earth, the cancer has laid waste her body, and she looks like a holocaust victim with the face of death even in life.

In an important first, such contacts coming directly and spontaneously from deceased loved ones are shown to have a biblical basis and to fulfill biblical promises.
About the Author
Morey McDaniel is a retired corporate lawyer, formerly chief finance counsel of a large industrial corporation. He holds degrees from Wesleyan University, Stanford Law School, and Harvard Law School. A longtime resident of New Canaan, Connecticut, Morey again lives in Springfield, Missouri, where he was born and grew up.
