The Difference is that there is larger type font for easier reading and reference. In order to do this, Donny had to increase the size of the book to 8.5" x 11". This is the second volume of Petersen's long-awaited Donny's Unauthorized Technical Guide to Harley Davidson 1936 to Present. This twelve-volume series by the dean of motorcycle technology examines the theory, design, and practical aspects of Twin Cam performance. Donny studied privately with Harley-Davidson engineers, having worked on Harleys for over 35 years. He founded Toronto's Heavy Duty Cycles in 1974, North America's premier motorcycle shop. Donny has ridden hundreds of performanced Shovels, Evos, and Twin Cams across four continents doing all of his own roadside repairs. He has acquired his practical knowledge the hard way. Donny has the privilege of sharing his performance secrets the easy way. Donny will walk you through detailed performancing procedures like headwork, turbo-supercharging, nitrous, big-inch Harleys and completing simple hop-up procedures like air breathers, exhausts, and ignition modifications. About the Author
Donny is the Winner of the 2012 International Book Awards. Donny established and has operated Heavy Duty Cycles in Toronto, Canada, since 1974; his monthly column “Techline” has appeared in American Iron Magazine since 1992. Instructed privately by Harley-Davidson engineers, Donny has taught mechanics, designed tech-school curricula, and authored student-licensing examinations. Donny has ridden Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution, and Twin Cam Harley-Davidsons for over 40 years across North America, Europe, segments of South America and South Africa. He has learned much from being a mechanic at Heavy Duty as well as doing all his own roadside repairs. A Toronto resident, Petersen now writes his 12-volume technical encyclopedia. His other hobbies include riding, mountain trekking, scuba diving, and boxing.
