Your clock alarms and you push the snooze button for an extra ten minutes of sleep. You do this twice and now you are behind schedule. Traffic is heavy and you are falling more behind. You know your boss will be furious if you are late again this week. The traffic light changes from red to green and the driver talking on the cell phone in front of you doesn’t see the change. You honk your horn and the driver flips you the bird. Your temper flares and you want to ram the rear of his car. The daily demons are at work sowing daily temptations in your path. You are walking behind an elderly lady in the parking lot when she removes her car keys from her purse dropping an object on the pavement. As you approach the object you see it is a small wad of cash. You have ample time to call the lady before she leaves. However, you are currently unemployed and desperately need this cash. What would you do? The daily demons are at work sowing daily temptations in your path. We all face a seemingly endless number of temptation everyday and we have little or no control of this. However, we can control what we think, say and do in response to these temptations. These are the critical parts of our lives; our thoughts, words and deeds. . When you resist the Daily Temptations (DTs) presented by the Daily Demons (DDs) they attack you with plan B which is to help you rationalize why doing something you know is wrong and sinful is justified. Problem is, the DDs don’t really help you rationalize, but they do help you RATIONAL-LIES, which is to develop RATIONAL-LIES to justify your actions. Rational-lies are illogical reasons we use to justify doing something we should not do. For example, the rational-lie maybe, I will have a diet drink with a slice of carrot cake and that will balance everything out, keep me healthy and prevent me from gaining weight. In other words, they help you lie to yourself and believe it.

About the Book
You knew it was wrong and can’t understand why you did it. What drives us to do these wrong things? Why are we sometimes so out of control? Have you ever asked yourself these questions? Most of us have, perhaps on a daily basis. The Bible attributes our doing the wrong thing when we really want to do what is right to the influences of sin spirits upon our lives. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin (sinful spirits) living in me that does it. Ro. 7:20 NIV. . I call these sinful spirits Daily Demons (DDs). These DDs are Satan’s little helpers who try to influence our decisions by continually sowing various sinful Daily Temptations (DTs) in our lives. The goal of this book is to make readers more keenly aware of these sinful influences that attacks and tempts them every day. We need to be aware of these influences and we must also understand how to resist and keep them under control. Problem is sin is very sneaky. It enters your life a little at a time and before you realize it you are surrounded by it. The danger in being around sin is you become use to it. Once you become acclimated to sin the next step is you begin to assimilate sinful acts
About the Author
Adjuanct professor at varous universitites and colleges since 1980, most notably the University of Nebraska. An ordained Methodist minister. Servered as assistent or associate pastor at several churches. Developed and wrote numerous Bible study workbooks and study guides. Retired from a career in the field of Industrail Engineering with emphasisi on standards develoment, motion time studies, system design and analysis and stragetic planning.
