On a listless autumn day, a child lay beneath the cool shade of a tree as a soft breeze fanned the air. The child appeared to be one who ate well and didn’t have a care in the world. This was because she was as innocent as an unbridled pony and had more time and freedom than other children. However, there was a lot that the child did not have, and this lack was enough to startle those many people who assumed that she had to be mentally and physically slow. Hence, the child had many nicknames: Loser, Idiot, Sil Sil (Silly). Of those names, people eventually chose to call the child Silly because the child always giggled in a silly manner.

About the Book
As a young girl, Silly is set free by her innocence. Blessed with special abilities, Silly is different from the other children and relentlessly teased, but she finds spiritual refuge at a peaceful lake that overflows with life. Silly’s father often visits Lake Boa with her and takes the opportunity to teach Silly and their housekeeper, Jabez, valuable life lessons about hope, forgiveness, purpose, and destiny. But Silly soon finds she has her own purpose as God communicates through her dreams to warn human beings of their collapsing consciousness, ultimately helping unearth a priceless stone—the source of forgotten power. As her father battles illness, her dreams by the water provide Silly with inspiration and a much-needed emotional sanctuary. As Silly matures into a woman, her journey to self-realization is one filled with promise and a powerful message that will encourage everyone to look for the brightest star.
About the Author
The author served in the past as an educator working with infant development and held various posts including chief executive of infant development education and chief government administrator in charge of infant development education. The author was also active with the True Light Education Research Center, provided free counseling to adolescents, and served as an educator in charge of teacher training. Currently, the author does volunteers as an expert in parent education and training. Having been a late bloomer as a child who experienced a longer latent period than other children, the author firmly states that the author’s heart and thoughts always gravitate towards the lives of ordinary people in our midst. At this time, we eagerly await a chance encounter at any place and time with the author, who has been prompted by the process of creating Silly’s Mirror to dream up new itineraries.
