About the Book

It was 1960, and Nalley T. Osland, young mother of two, felt out of control. She was strangled by an overwhelming fear that was trying to take control of her—both spiritually and physically. Her nerves were frayed, and she was on the edge of collapse. But this all changed one Sunday morning when God came to her home and instructed her to go to church.

When she obeyed, she began a journey she never thought possible. With her husband, Stuart, by her side, the family followed the commands presented in the Bible and walked in the way of the Lord. Osland shares an array of the family’s experiences—from making a new life in a different state to living in a home cursed by witchcraft.

About the Author

Nalley T. Osland, formerly Tommie Hodges of Savannah, Georgia, resides with her husband, Stuart, in Lexington, South Carolina. She has four children and six grandchildren. A co-leader of the Lexington Chapter of the South Carolina Writers Workshop, several of Osland’s short stories have appeared in various publications.
