She was completely out of control. Like a meteor she came streaking downward through the upper atoshpere at incredible speed and then things suddenly got worse. Her unwitting passanger was suddenly torn loose form her grasp and went spiraling away. Terror gripped her as she watched him spinning away and realized what the laws of physics were going to do. With the surface of the earth now only seconds away all she could do was to look straight ahead and accept her fate and tragically the fate of one who was innocent. "What have I done" she cried out in her heart. She then closed her eyes and waited for the impact. Today is a good day to die... What will the future now bring?

About the Book
The Voyage of the ELAD is about a young guardian angel that gets too close to one unsuspecting human. While trying to correct that mistake the angel makes a far bigger mistake which could have disastrous results. The angel and the human join together on a journey to help each other and the forces of heaven and earth come together to fulfill an old Native American legend. Together they must try and turn the tragic events of the past into a triumphant journey that gives birth to a new and brighter future.
About the Author
Dale L. Pilcher lives in Fort Worth Texas with his wife. He is a retired Texas Deputy Sheriff and currently works in professional theater. He is also the joint owner of a harp company. He plays the harp, guitar, piano and composes music and is also a sword smith. The Voyage of the ELAD is Dale's first novel.
