Jon: You slept for 15 hours, dude. Tony: So what, what's (what is) wrong with that? Jon: That's (that is) too much, man. Tony: There's (there is)no time limit for sleeping. I sleep when I feel sleepy and I'm (I am) awake when I don't (do not) feel sleepy. It's (it is) easy enough. Jon: Good philosophy. Tony: Why did you wake me up? Jon: Let's (let us) go see your cousin. Jenny: Hi, I'm calling about your ad in the magazine. Advertiser: Yes. It's a 94 Ford. Jenny: What's the mileage on it? Advertiser: 43,000 miles. Jenny: Any options? Advertiser: It comes with a stereo and an air conditioner. Jenny: Is there any problems to be taken care of? Advertiser: Not that I know of. And the body is in primo shape. Jenny: What color is it because the magazine photo is black and white. Advertiser: It's dark olive. Sandy: I want to send a telegram to Spain, please. Telegram Officer: Please put the address here and a message can go below it. Sandy: Okay, thank you. Telegram Officer: (writing) Sandy: What's the charge? Telegram Officer: It's forty cents per word. Sandy: Here you go. And thanks for the pen. Telegram Officer: Is this full rate? Sandy: No, urgent, please. Telegram Officer: It's going to be $24.25. Sandy: Do you accept Visa? Gina: A blind-date? Sandy: Yeah, she said she'd (she would) like to go. Gina: When did you talk to her? Sandy: This morning. Gina: Take care of her as if she were your own sister. Sandy: I'm not a bad person, you know. Gina: I'm not saying that. I mean she doesn't know a lot, she's pretty naive.

About the Book

About the Author
I am qualified to write the book because the main focus of the book is to teach foreigners how to speak American English, and I have been an English teacher/professor for last seven years. Not only have I taught uncountable foreigners how to speak in English, but I also have been traveling oversees to check how non-US-residents learn/study English. Though my experiences, I came to a realization that many students or people know how to write in English, but do not know how to communicate in English. I live in the state of California and had attained doctorate degree in medicine. Currently I am a medical researcher, professor, and writer.
