About the Book

Author Dev Prana considers himself a Muslim on Fridays, a Jew on Saturdays, a Christian on Sundays, and a Buddhist on Mondays. Regardless of the faith he explores on any given day, each and every day he tries to be a walking embodiment of love, peace, and kindness. He is a student of religion, but it was not always this way. Twenty years ago, as he sought peace through study, he ended up tumbling over life’s purpose.

Spiritual Quest of a Baby Yogi is one seeker’s search for truth amidst the many religions of the modern world and his eventual realization that all religions lead to one Father of the Universe. No matter the book— Quran or Bible—and no matter the figure—Buddha or Jesus Christ— all spiritual striving focuses on the similar foundations of unconditional love, nonviolence, and inner peace.

As human beings, it is important we make an honest attempt to seek God in order to achieve enlightenment. We are different races with different beliefs, but we share this earth as one. Together, we can fill it with peace and love, but we must first make a spiritual connection with the higher power. It is time to become devout students of spirituality in order to make this world a better place.

About the Author

Dev Prana, a.k.a. Safir (Sam) Ahmed,, has been a network engineer for the past eighteen years. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and children. For the past two decades, he has researched and practiced tenets of Islam, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism (Sanatana Dharma), Bhakti yoga, and Pranayama. “...I used to live a meaningless, chaotic, materialistic, and empty life that brought me no inner peace and joy, and ultimately led to my decision of taking my own life out of sheer desperation and frustration. In a very personal dream, I saw a message revealed to me, and I decided to investigate and understand the Holy Bible and Christianity up close and personal.”
