It is hard to look beyond the here and now, but if He had answered it the way that we asked, it could have been hurtful for us. God sees farther ahead than we do. Teach us to trust your decision. About the Book
Esta Freeland Cox has written multiple books about her family, her life through the depression era, outliving two husbands, and raising her kids. This 95 year old author has weathered the storm of being raise poor, family bankruptcy, and struggles, but always her faith in Jesus has brought her through for the next day's battles. It is this idea of struggling and surviving just one more day, just "One Day at a Time" that made this book come alive. Friends and family encouraged, if not cajoled ,her into writing a daily devotional for them all to read. The idea was that the book was to make her faith come alive for not only this generation, but for future generations as well. She hopes that all the readers will find the same Lord Jesus Christ that she has, and will be strengthened each and every day they have been given to live.
About the Author
Esta Freeland Cox is a 95 year old woman of unusual talents. She lived a life encompassing being run over by a team of wild workhorses, outliving two husbands, traveled most of the world, written many books and memoirs, shoveled her own driveway at 92, and continues to be an inspiration to her kids, grandkids, and greatgrandkids. Esta now lives in an assisted living facility in Northfield, Minnesota and still walks to Church, the park, and continues to write books.
