Tillman has lived a quiet life with his family and few friends. One night, his simple existence is forever changed when he can no longer walk on his own and must use a cane. Into his changing world comes an old acquaintance from high school. The renewed friendship becomes a nightmare for J.C. as he falls prey to a sociopath who assaults him and his loved ones. With the aid of his family, friends, a doctor, two ex-girlfriends, a “scary scientist man”, and the mysterious hand of God, J.C. undergoes a transformation and begins a lone journey to find the one who hurt him and his family. It is a quest that takes him from the mountains of North Carolina to Panama City Beach at the height of spring break. It is also a journey of self-discovery as J.C. goes from being a sensitive man with a gentle heart to a man burning with unspoken rage and anger.

About the Author

"Big Adam" is from Cherokee, North Carolina and has written seven books. He graduated from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, with two Bachelor's degrees - Journalism (2003) and Criminal Justice (2004). In 2007 he graduated with his Master's degree in Criminal Justice and is now working on his doctorate through Northcentral University. His pen name comes from his friends while a student at Faulkner. He enjoys taking long road trips, especially the beach. A member of the Church of Christ, he currently divides his time between friends in Alabama and family in North Carolina.
