About the Book

After unlocking the door to The Origin Makinji must now discover why his forefathers chose to come to the desert and what became of his true home at the center of a vast empire that had been engaged in a centuries-old conflict against a superior foe at the time when the six races came to the desert. Should he give in to the urgings of ancient machines and take up the power and responsibility of his noble inheritance, or should he continue to pursue the ancient riddles that hold the mysteries of the past?

About the Author

After growing up with classic Science Fiction, math and science, Bert Casper eventually wrote several short stories and full length novels, most of them set in the universe that is the backdrop for Shadow upon the Dream. He lives in Redmond, WA with his wife Jenny.
