About the Author

Perry M. Fletcher I am a native of Morton, MS. I am a member of Pilgrim Rest M. B. Church, under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Willie E. Jones. I am the proud pastor of the Pleasant Gift M. B. Church in Morton, MS. I am an Honor Graduate of Morton High School. I also attended Jackson State University, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and Alcorn State University, where I received my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. It has been my goal to play an influential part of the lives of young people throughout my secular and pastoral career. I have served as a basketball coach on the high school and collegiate level, where I have helped many student- athletes become successful in life, academically, athletically, and spiritually. I am divinely united in marriage to Lady DaVida M. Fletcher, and we have one son, Perry M. Fletcher, II (P. J.).
