About the Author

Jesse Duckworth is a dynamic speaker and author whose dedication and passion for young people has led him to speak and minister to various youth groups, college organizations as well as those incarcerated in the juvenile system. Some of the topics that he’s passionate speaking about include: abstinence, self-esteem, tools for success in education, and other topics that currently affect our youth. His gift as a speaker and musician has also allowed him to minister in countries such as Nigeria, Kenya, Ukraine, and Mexico City. Jesse received his Bachelors degree in Health Education as well as a Masters degree in School Administration and Supervision from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. He has worked in the field of education as a teacher and school administrator for the past ten years. Jesse Duckworth is also a supervisor at his High School’s local chapter of The Student African American Brotherhood (S.A.A.B.), which is a national organization that encourages young men to excel academically, professionally, and in the community. Jesse and his wife Angie reside in Toledo, Ohio.
