About the Book

Too often is poetry simply the product of man struggling to come to grips with the world around him. He begs, he pleads, he yearns for understanding. And too often it does not come.

Not so here. Johan Lewis, a prodigal genius for his time, has unleashed the new power that is the written word. With astonishing prowess and insatiable word-play, Mr. Lewis embarks on a journey to not only question man’s ultimate plight, but eventually, find the answer to it.

As gripping as it is audacious. As shrewd as it is page-turning. Soul-charging, sexual, electrifying, and yet timbered with a pang of heart-felt honesty. These are surely to be the best words you’ve ever read.

About the Author

Johan Lewis didn’t go to school, in any traditional sense of the word. His school, simply, was experience itself, and in that school he may as well have attained a doctorate. A sponge of observation and clarity, Mr. Lewis began his career as a poet in the most modest way possible– recitation to the public. Frequenting open mic nights and poetry readings, his words sunk deep in the unwilling ears of those who were soon transformed into his most devoted followers. A mind that contained thousands of lines of memorized beauty was soon implored by pleading fans to for the love of God write these down before the world misses out on what could be its ultimate redemption. In a furious thirty hour recitation to one of his closest friends, Margaret Bantham, Mr. Lewis nearly died of exhaustion. He slept a full seven days before arising to turn in a manuscript that almost shook the ground when it was first read aloud.Mr. Lewis lives in seclusion among tribesman in the Himalayas, committing to memory what will surely be the next greatest thing to ever happen to mankind since this collection of poems.
