About the Author

In writing of life's possibilities, I am reminded of the music itself, and of all the songs that proclaim the message of "you can do it" - such as Over the rainbow- There are such things-You'll never walk alone-Smile-and I've got a pocketful of Dreams, and so many more. And all so true. I am not a writer - but I've written two books on my WWII experiences, and have never had a complaint about my writing, or facts of my Air Force History. I wrote the books for one simple reason - in 2 1/2 years of overseas combat - there was no History of our 12th Air Force - we needed an accurate history, and I wrote one! I am writing another on my experiences concerning Corruption. My occupation was as a heavy duty mechanic. I never particularly cared for the work, but it was all I knew - but I became very good at my work, recieving many accolades from employers. And the money from that, enabled me to buy the musical items I needed to persue my number "ONE" hobby - playing jazz. Do I regret not being a recording star? Sometimes, but that wasn't my goal - playing jazz, and playing it right was the only goal I had, and that came late in life when I was ready to reitre from my working days. I caught the "Rainbow" I was chasing, and the ride has been overwhelming. For everything - I THANK HIM!
