A tall dark, man came to the window. He looked out and saw nothing. He was clean cut and from the interior of the apartment he was well off. He wore a tight fitting night shirt and a headset adorned his head. He was talking to someone and the way his mouth moved it appeared to be something business related.
The masked figure tapped again as he turned to leave and almost irately, the man turned taking the headset off of his head, he went to unlock the door. Suddenly she hopped onto the balcony and as if the glass was paper, she reached through the patio door shattering the glass and grabbing the man by the neck. He struggled greatly, punching the woman hard in the face. She seemed not be slowed by this for an instant. He began to lose fight, and life. She held him high over her head still clutching his neck tightly. He’d be dead soon.
Black had seen enough, he leapt off the building which was next to the apartment building and touched down hard onto the patio next to the ninja and her captive. He grabbed her arm pulling her nails from his neck. The man fell to the ground and blood poured from the ten holes her nails had created.
“That’s enough, I’m sure you can work out your relationship troubles without all the violence,” Black said, not knowing what his next move should be.
He suddenly felt a kick in the face and shook his head to shake off the impact. He stood poised to attack back when she suddenly jumped and wrapped her leg around his neck and took off toward the building he had just jumped from. Her legs squeezed tightly, cutting off his circulation and oxygen. He reached toward the balcony rail but could not grab it in time. Black then noticed that the female ninja was still standing over her prey. She reached down to the helpless man who was clutching his neck trying to keep too much blood from escaping. She picked him off the ground and continued to choke the life out of him.
Black was perplexed. The figure with her legs locked around his neck flew to the top of the building and released him. He stood and coughed slightly, shaking his head and trying to make sense of what he was seeing. He glanced over the ledge and watched as the man scratched at his assailant with much futility. He looked at the slim figure standing before him. It was the same woman. He had no time make sense of the situation he sprinted toward the ledge to leap to the next building again. He suddenly felt a sharp blow to the head, this time it was strong enough to knock him to the ground hard. He looked up and saw the same woman with her leg poised in the air as if to have just finished a roundhouse kick.
“I had dreams of situations like these in my younger days,” he said smiling, picking himself ready for the next attack.
The women remained silent, standing three feet apart each had one hand in front poised for battle and the other lingered behind them fiddling with the staff.
“If that man dies, I will be very upset.”
“Upset, because he is going to die,” the one in the front said, “or that you can do nothing to prevent it?” the second one said finishing off the statement.
“That’s cute; I only need two moves, one for each of you and ten seconds to get over there. And I’m upset that I’m going to have to hurt three beautiful women or… one… or whatever, all probably over a misunderstanding.”
They looked at each other and nodded slightly. The one in the front suddenly flew with binding speed, low to the ground towards Black’s legs, the second ran behind and slightly to the right There eyes glowed white and their hands stayed poised behind their backs clutching their weapon. Black flipped back a couple times for room. He snapped a dread from his head and as the first clone came flying in low, he planted his arm down firmly and as she swiped at him from below swiftly with an ebony gleaming sword, he pushed off and planted his feet hard into the small of her back. The second was directly behind ready to run him through. Black rolled off the woman under his feet and somersaulted under the incoming sword. He stood and stretched the rope around her neck and swinging her around his body he turned and slung her hard on top of the twin already lying there.
He took no time hesitating and ran toward the ledge when he felt a sharp, slicing pain to the back and as he turned he was kicked again, this time hard in the stomach and fell backwards off of the building. A fourth girl had appeared and the blade gleamed with his fresh red blood. He saw as the two others hopped onto the ledge and watched him as he plummeted down twenty stories. Black turned his body and drifted toward the adjacent building. He still had to try and save the man. He climbed quickly up the floors of cluttered patios until a large object came hard on him causing him to fall back toward the ground.
He noticed in his freefall the body of the man who was attacked slumped over him as they both fell fifteen stories toward the busy street. Black looked up noticing four sets glowing white eyes watching as he fell helplessly in the air. Black did his best to position himself to take most of the impact in his legs and lessen the impact the man would feel. He braced himself and felt successful at his plan, though his own legs felt injured, it wouldn’t take but a minute or so for them to heal. He laid the man down and checking his pulse and noticed the man’s eyes wide open dried blood wounds on either side of his neck. He was dead before the fall. Black looked around and watched the pandemonium. Women came out of buildings screaming for help, children cried, mothers desperately pulling their sons and husbands from inside their apartment and houses probably to get them closer to the ambulances blaring around the city. They were hysterical. It seemed as if no man was being spared even the young ones. He noticed not one male over ten years old walking around in the epidemic. The rest laid out on the street, in their cars, many of them seemed to be dead from an unknown cause though several had the same ten nail wounds in their necks. He stood and stretched looking up toward the top of the building as the four glowing eyes looked down at him, not moving. He felt as his legs mended and the soreness in his back began to fade. One of the ninja females placed her hand to her ear and began speaking. She concluded a brief conversation and nodded to the rest of them. They all rose into the air and came diving down toward Black.
He smiled. “You women in this town are crazy,” he said quietly, out loud to himself. Taking one of his dreads he began pulling his hair back into a pony tail and tied it up, “and to think I started liking one of you chicks, you’re probably all crazy.”
His adrenaline began to flow and a quiet rage crept up his spine and his muscles augmented slightly under the cool night. He allowed them to get within about three feet and time suddenly slowed as his eyes turned black. He flipped acrobatically, backward several feet and closed his eyes poised for battle. Time suddenly resumed normal and the four women hit the ground less than gracefully shaking their heads in miscomprehension. They stood up and Black noticed there were now five. They stood in a broken line and seemed to know instantly their plan of attack. One bended down slightly and placing her hands together catapulted one of them high into the air, another was being swung swiftly in a circle and was let go in his direction in a rapid kamikaze as two of them began sprinting toward him in a surrounding flank. Suddenly the remaining two were approaching in the same fashion as they did on top of the building.
“Can I ask, what these men did to deserve this,” he said running head long into the one taking the right flank. He closed lined her hard into the pavement.
“It’s what he didn’t do,” one of them said.
He jumped high into the air at the one coming from above. She drew her sword and thrust it toward him. Black turned in mid air rolling off the tip of the sword and
