Being here with you, in this moment—
Sharing the light—
It almost makes me wonder….
Inside this little world—a tiny island—
Shrined in quiet rhythms:
The energies; the voices; the songs of life itself;
Harmonies of whispering waves—
Pealing softly, over a celestial shore;
The dance of music and sunshine—
The faint, echoing oceans of Heaven;
Shadows of tender light—
Glowing—ever so gently—on the distant waters…
Are we really…at least for this moment…
In that God-forsaken world, after all…?
Whatever it is— wherever it is— Lord, it feels good
To be able to share it with you: To share the sunlight—
The sparkle of tenderness….
The time we spend here together: Sharing—
Sharing both the darkness and the light:
Could it be…
This will bring a brighter light for both of us:
A light that could never be so bright—
But for the darkness itself.

About the Author
Dana DeSimon was born and lives in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
He graduated from Messiah College with a BA in Behavioral Sciences and earned a Master of Planning from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Writing this book has been, perhaps, the most satisfying accomplishment of his life.
