As we all struggle in life with trials and tribulations we oft en stray away from the word of God. However, if we just know in our hearts that God can and will deliver us through anything he will bring us back with his mercy and Grace. His word is the truth and light, without it we will be in the dark. As you read these prayer poems God will give you peace, Love and happiness. You will be able to see the truth in yourself as well as those that surround you. Maybe you are struggling in the workplace, maybe at home, in your relationship with others or just simply you want to have a more intimate relationship with God. As you read the contents of this book it will make you want to open your bible and find out the Good news of Jesus Christ. Only then we will be able to share the Gospel with Others. John 3:16 in the bible is the reason why we can say this with confident and peace. May God bless you as you grow closer to him through powerful prayer. GALATIANS 6:6 “Let them that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things” The scripture above speaks for the author and poet itself. Shimeka Simone Brown. God gives us talents and surely he has blessed Mrs. Brown with the talent to inspire, minister, and serve god threw her writing of poetry and stories. It is her soul belief to lift up everyone from the Sailor serving on the ship in our country to a single mother trying to raise her kids. Through her life experience and a blend of the loving kindness, Shimeka Simone Brown has a beautiful gift to reach and touch each and everyone of us with poems and stories inspired from the word of God! 30 years of age from Natchitoches Louisiana but also calls Houston Texas her home, Mrs. Brown is a proud member of the worlds finest United States Navy serving her country proudly and with the dedication to her Commander in chief and most of all to her Navy shipmates and to the American people. As a Yeoman Second Class she is poise to make the Navy a better service everyday and has the pulse of the Sailors and the dedication to help anyone with any task. During her 10 year military career, in which she is still proudly serving, Mrs. Brown has performed at several military events and local café’s which includes an event to remember September 11th, Martin Luther King black history month event, and Women’s history event to name a few. She has recited her poems in cities such as Jacksonville FL, Atlanta GA, San Diego CA, Washington DC, Memphis TN, and Forth Worth TX. Since 1999 she has published numerous articles and poetry in many military publications inspiring Sailors and troops. Additionally, she also speaks about leadership and paid tribute to the many diverse cultures of our country and military.
