About the Book
A Pennsylvanian family leaves with a wagon train to Salina, Kansas. The main character is the son Billy, his adolescent years, the joining of a cattle drive and subsequent life with trials on the trails from Texas to Montana. Billy's experiences through adult years and of meeting Julie Johnson who is prominent in his last years.
Julie returns to Hawaii, marrying an oil man from Texas. A fantastic, outrageous life on the road with his company follows. Together parts one and two are historical, factual, hilarious and made for a happy life that blew them all over, just like the wind blows.
About the Author
June Hall is a retired teacher of English, Psycology, Graphology and Kenetics. Her travels through each of the fifty states and twenty six countries taught her different languages; six of which she speaks. After retirement she worked ten years for Arizona State Parks; incorporating that knowlege in her books and poetry. She now lives in Enumclaw, Washington, where she enjoys time with friends, an assortment of borrowed children, her many flower beds and she continues to write.
