About the Author

This anthology features short stories and poems written or submitted by the residents of Heritage Ranch, an active-adult community in Fairview, Texas. The contributors to this volume are: Nancy Benzon, Julene Brill, Diana Cawthorn, Joan Craig, Trudi Dunkerson, Bobbie Howarth, Mike Kirkpatrick, Jo Lazane, George Uber and Joanne Vinocur. These stories and poems represeent over fifty decades of the authors' life experiences. Leanin' on the Fencepost is edited by Mike Kirkpatrick, author of the Susan Solari mystery novels, including After Shocks and Salvation.
