Yes, my fellow Americans, Nancy Pelosi and the Clerk thought they could be sneaky and put provisions in the budget for 2009 allowing to: “ensure, to the maximum extent practicable, that options for providing food aid for emergency and nonemergency needs shall not be subject to limitation, including in-kind commodities, provision of funds for agricultural commodity procurement, and monetization of commodities, on the condition that the provision of those commodities or funds – (i) is 102 The Election of Ideologies: Do You Know Where You Stand? based on the assessments of need and intended to benefit the food security of, or otherwise assist, recipients, and (ii) is provided in a manner that avoids disincentives to local agricultural production and marketing and with minimal potential for disruption of commercial markets”(H RES 2419 Sec. 3003) This is just one portion of Title III that was conveniently left out of the President’s copy of this bill. In Section 3008 of this same Title – also left out of the complete document – provisions are made for the fiscal year of 2009 to appropriate a portion of the budget: ‘(A) to assess the types and quality of agricultural commodities and products donated for food aid; (B) to adjust products and formulations (including the potentital introduction of new fortificants and products) as necessary to cost-effectively meet nutrient needs of target populations; and (C) to test prototypes’ (Subsection (h) of revised document or H RES 2419 Sec. 3008). So let me get this straight, Pelosi, you and the other Democratic nitwits in Congress slyly attempted to inject appropriations into our 2009 budget to not only give food to ANY other country for emergency or NONEMERGENCY needs, in fact, let me quote the exact wording again, “options for providing food aid for emergency and nonemergency needs shall not be subject to limitation.” So you have not only obligated the United States to donate our necessary food supply to other countries, but you have even extended this courtesy to include NONEMERGENCY NEEDS? Have you lost it altogether, Nancy Pelosi? Do you realize the effects of rising food costs IN THIS COUNTRY? We do not need provisions obligating Americans to ship our food overseas, one of the few remaining American industries the government has not thus far crippled. Thank you, Democrats, for making a thorough, yet not so clever attempt to appropriate one of our top export industries to GIVE our food to neighboring countries or those you deem to be suffering. This bill gives the President the discretion to decide when the countries are in ‘need,’ I suppose; however, there is one person running for the President of the United States in 2008 that I simply do not trust with the authority to distribute our crops overseas. Let’s be clear, I’m talking about Barack Obama. Additionally, have the democrats not been whining and complaining about the deficit? Of course they have, but they allow for ‘monetization of commodities’ in this bill to be distributed to countries in ‘distress’ or some mumbo jumbo. I am so sick of hearing Marie Stacey 103 the democrats endlessly rant about the trillions of dollars of debt in this country, and yet they have no problem ‘monetizing commodities’ just to ship them back overseas. So now we’re borrowing money from overseas to ship it back overseas. Good plan, democrats.

With Barack Obama chosen as the new President Elect, it is very important to become informed on the ideologies, mindsets, and beliefs that will guide Obama's Presidency and dominate his principles. My book explains information about the United States Government relevant to United States Citizens. I am an American and wish to uphold the ideals of freedom within the walls of the United States of America. Those values are very important to protect and uphold. True Conservatism is in revival mode in the United States right now, and I am one of many trying to resuscitate it. Conservatism is a unique and interesting branch of philosophy-based ideological preferences for the world, for government, and for society. While Conservatism is still a major contender in the political climate of any election in America, Conservatism needs a revival from the current constraints put on it by the Republican Party. I promote Conservatism of Capitalism, Freedom, Liberty, the Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence. This book is written from that perspective and encompasses a viewpoint not generally portrayed on Television or in the mainstream. Americans, in the wake of an Obama Presidency, should yearn for more knowledge on the man that will guide our country for the next four years. Only with knowledge can we pursue goals. Everyone knows this. I bring facts into this book that have been discussed in very few other media outlets (the coverup going on only begins with Obama, it also encompasses the Democratic Congress who has failed to impose any substantial, helpful legislation).
About the Author
I am a twenty-two year old college student. I spent two years attending Wake Forest University, and now I am working to complete my education at another University. I am using a pen name to publish this book because I am still in college and would rather stay anonymous until I graduate. While at Wake Forest, I gained a lot of knowledge of political writing and research methods. Coupled with my natural interest in political science and economics, I concocted this book to disclose some crucial facts about the 2008 Presidential Election. I am very opinionated and always enjoy a heated debate. Without debate, an individual is without real comprehension of their argument. I enjoy driving, writing, and spending time with my family and my amazing boyfriend. I am a resident of the state of Tennessee and adore the area -- from the enchanting scenery to the friendly people. Beauty is still alive in the South, that is for sure. I take pride in the South, and I love it. I can't imagine living in the North after being raised in the South. Yankees have a hard time understanding the right to gun ownership. But I can't talk too bad about the North since my father's side of the family is from Boston. I love the Red Sox and the Patriots. And no, I did not jump on the bandwagon; I liked the Patriots when Drew Bledsoe was the quarterback and when the Red Sox couldn't make it past the first round of the playoffs (The only game I ever went to at Fenway Park, they lost. Luckily, I saw them play in Tampa Bay, and they won). But I have visited New York City multiple times and really enjoyed it there. I don't like the Yankees fans though, no matter what part of the earth they're on. I'm also interested in fashion and design. Men can never understand the need for fashion; I've accepted that and moved on. I still love it. I'm also Patriotic and Proud to be an American. I have a flag lapel pin (it's sparkly), and I'm not ashamed to wear it. It really is hard to summarize yourself on a sheet of paper, but this is the best that I can do for now.
