About the Book

Amanda Graham's world was destroyed by her parents' divorce. She left her friends and father in New York, moved to Florida, and entered a small, cliquey private school. In a misguided attempt to become popular, Amanda lied about one of her teachers. She found the friendship she had been seeking, but ultimately realized that that sort of friendship wasn't what she had been looking for, and it certainly wasn't worth the price she had to pay.
