He was an actor of Stage, Television and Motion Pictures. He played a featured role in MGM s TAKE THE HIGH GROUND, with Richard Widmark and Karl Malden (1953) and had the leading role in HARLEM DETECTIVE (the first drama series with an African-American leading role. WOR TV (1953). He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, BA, (Greeley), and took additional writing courses at Columbia and New York Universities.
