About the Book

Samantha gets the job of mail carrier on remote Smugglers’ Trail in Southern Arizona. Stopping to help an injured goat, she gets stuck in the mud and meets the doctor who may be a drug lord. Boarding with cat-loving Scylla, Samantha finds her job exciting, often fun, and usually dangerous.

About the Author

Jeanne Williams often visited her brother who was postmaster in a border village much like Tinaja. The dirt road was frequented by smugglers and plain clothes law officers. She loves cats and admires goats like Roz.
