About the Book

The great initiation ceremony has just ended, and Tladi (Lightning) is not only chosen leader of his regiment, but given title of "Great" an unprecedented archievement for someone his age. This breeds resentment among some of his peers especially his main nemises Makopela. Following an attempt on the young warriors life which almost succeds but leaves the warrior grotesquely deformed a human leopard known as Kahuru emerges. Now will Kahuru quelt the campaign of terror launched by the sinister Makopela and his army of outcasts who threaten the very existence of the Bakhudung and surrounding nations?

About the Author

Sebati Edward Mafate was born in Zambia and raised in Botswana and South Africa. In 1992 he won the Bishop Desmond Tutu and moved to Southern California where he earned a BS in Civil Engineering and a BA in Creative Writing. He leaves in Pasadena with his wife Vivian Lorena and their three children.
