About the Book

This journal is about my summer at Denali National Park. Its the daily adventures of my working vacation in the "Land of the Midnight Sun".

About the Author

I am a 46 year old Physical Education Assistant at Safety Harbor Elementary School. I have been teaching for 18 years and 550 students in my classes each day. My son Eric, 23, is a Military Policeman, stationed in Seattle, Washington. He has two young sons, Christopher and Zachary, which makes me a proud grandmother! On Sunday, I teach Music in the children's department at the Unity Church, in Clearwater, Florida. I love children and enjoy my work with them, which keeps me yound and active at heart. This is the first year I won't be working with them during the summer session.
