About the Book

“I sometimes think that love, stars, and deity are one”

This book of poetry, which explores the interface between man and infinity, suggests that the simplest love between humans—man and woman, family and child—may provide the closest possible approach to divinity. It is offered as a celebration of life in a warm and caring Universe.

Robert Whitcomb

About the Author

Robert Whitcomb, a retired scientist, worked as a Research entomologist for 30 years for the US Department of Agriculture. His research covered viruses, bacteria, insects, grasslands, birds, and deciduous forest. In retirement, he divides his time between Arizona and West Virginia. In both states, he has developed oral history projects documenting the life and times of the generation of Americans who lived through the Great Depression and the Second World War. He is an active member of the Patagonia (Arizona)Poets.
