R.E Armstrong served with the U.S. Army’s First Field Force in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. He holds a degree in Sociology and Communication from the University of Oklahoma and did Graduate work in Human Relations there. His first book, Veterans Benefits: A Guide To State Programs, was co-written with Terry P. Rizzuti.
