About the Author
Phil spent roughly 30 years with Bell Laboratories as a computer scientist, working on various aspects of telecommunication. The last 10 years of this were with the protocol architecture group at Bell Laboratories. Since retiring, Phil has taught telecommunications at Rutgers University and the College of William & Mary.
