About the Book

The History of Sir Henry tells the story of Lady Frances Pleckham and her ill-fated uncle, the infamous Sir Henry Morland. Set in England nearing the end of the eighteenth century, the novel details the heroine’s struggle to retain her independence while combating the influence of her uncle. Lady Frances is forced to confront the consequences of her decisions, which lead her to a haphazard and sometimes isolated existence.

Netta Cruse was born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, and is a currently majoring in History at Athabasca University.
