About the Author

Maia Rodman is the author — under her maiden name Wojciechowska — of several children's books, including "Shadow of a Bull," winner of the Newbery Award. An editor, teacher, translator and local politician, Rodman is also a writer whose articles have appeared in many local and national publications.
