About the Book

A written chronological dialogue between an eldest daughter, Karen, and her deceased father, Harry. She relates to her father all her memories, experiences, pains, sadness, feelings and emotions during his dying process. Her father does not recall the first days of this terminal illness while he is in the hospital, which provides the reason for recording this experience.

About the Author

Karen Alexen-Porter was born and raised in Nebraska. She is a single divorced mother of five and a grandmother of three. This is the author’s first attempt at writing a book. This book was part therapeutic and part resource. The author had difficulty finding materials which relate the death process in such a manner, which would assist the loved ones.
