About the Book

Love is Tim and Edna's legacy from their earliest childhood. They study philosophy in college, but Tom and Tim become partners in owning and managing a coalmine. When Tom and Lora, and Trixie and Dixie are killed in a fatal planecrash, Tim and Edna become multimillionaires, and decide to devote the rest of their lives to using their wealth for the good of all mankind.

There is murder, suicide, and finally the death of Tim's beloved cousin, Edna. This is the ultimate tragedy of Tim's life, for Edna is his ultimate love in life.

Tim marries a woman whom he met as his private duty nurse. He trusts her from the very beginning, and gradually empowers her to spend money on his behalf for charitable purposes.

Then he encounters his grandfather in the yard, but grandpa has been dead for over forty years. Is he halucinating, as he's done before, or is this a real visitation from heaven?

Grandfather has all of his deceased loved ones greet him and bless him, then, finally, he sees his beloved Edna again. After he converses with her, he is alone in the yard, and Mary, his wife, is walking to meet him.

No brief discription such as this could do justice to my book.

About the Author

I was born on 700 hill (the number of a coalmine), near Omar, West Virginia. I quit school in the tenth grade, joined the army, and passed the GED test there. I earned a master's in philosophy, but had a stroke before I could apply myself in my field. I've had six strokes, a heart attack, and near heart failure. I will be sixty-four my birthday, have been married for 43 years, and have three grown daughters.
