About the Book

Julie Morrison thought her life was over when she lost her husband in World War II. The news was almost more than she could endure. For two turbulent years, her decisions were laced with his memory. She spent fifteen months in China as a medical missionary trying to re-start her life. A few months after leaving China, she was in love with two men at the same time. After an inspired resolve, Julie was happily married for twenty-two years before she lost her second husband in a tragic accident.

For a year after the accident, Julie barely existed as she steered her lonely days through tumbled dreams and more memories. When her vapid year was starting to re-cycle, fate arranged a rendezvous with an irresistible young man. She soared on Winds of Destiny into arms of ineffable love. About the Author

Harry Beckett is a retired Engineer. Most of his writing has been of a technical nature until recently when he had time to complete his dream project. During his career of technical writing, he did, however, write many poems, and some have been published. Harry and his wife, Betty, live on a farm near Huntington, WV. They enjoy country living that includes gardening and quiet walks through wooded areas of the farm.
