Simple Peace is a book of reflections on the spiritual life of St. Francis of Assisi. More than a story of the life of Francis, this book gives the inner life and developement of perhaps the worlds most famous saint. Simple Peace is printed in several languages and enjoyed by many pilgrims who want to know the heart and prayers of our most human saint-Francis of Assisi.

About the Author

Bruce Davis, Ph.D. has been leading retreats in Assisi, Italy with participants from many countries since 1983. Together with his wife and partner Ruth, they lived in Assisi for twelve years. Together they created the Assisi Retreat Center which was listed by CNN as “One of the world’s top ten meditation centers”. Their ecumenical work in Assisi was given a special blessing from Pope John Paul II. Bruce is also the author of The Love Letters of St. Francis and St. Clare exploring the extraordinary spiritual love these two saints discovered.
