About the Book

These are a collection of very short stories; each one exactly 55 words in length.

They express my outlook on life, life in general and a variety of other thoughts that enter my mind for no apparent reason.

I hope a few of them put a smile on your face and one or two more give you pause to ponder; if such is accomplished, I’ll be happy for both of us.

Born and raised in Santa Maria, California, I had a fair amount of drive and no direction. I've owned service stations, sold real estate, owned night clubs and pretended to be a building contractor—Then I found a pen.
Hopefully I’ll find a way to use it effectively.
