About the Book

My two main characters are Amanda Mellon and John Bjorn. Both have lost theire mates, and have been widows for several years. Much to their surprise they are introduced and find love and romance is still available for them even though they are both in their seventies. The romance continues by international telephone between Westin, Wisconsin and Stockholm, Sweden. Problems arise when the ambassador's retirement becomes a stumbling block.

About the Author

Although Roberta has written many short stories, this is her first novel. She is in her seventies and has been widowed for several years. An avid reader, she finds writing fulfilling and an excellent hobby. She enjoys most sports and spends much time in her gardens. Every five years since graduating from high school she has chaired the classes reunions, which has been her joy.
