About the Book

Stacey blames herself for things not turning out the way they were supposed to with her life. She decides to leave Jordan, her only true love and father of her child.

She returns to her ex-lover Robin for moral support, but as time goes by together they rile up their old life of drinking, dancing and nightclubs. After their one night of rekindled passion, Stacey decides to leave again, realizing things will never be the way they were before. With one last strip tease she’s gone.

Now comes Vessel, a small town in Nevada where things start looking up. She becomes attracted to the town’s Mayor, Peter Dein, who is more than willing to help her in any way he can. Stacey gets a new job, a new place to live and a new love life.

Countless phone calls are made regarding Cara coming to live in Nevada all the while Jordan begging Stacey to finally come home.

Her plans take a drastic turn and in one moment Stacey is confronted with the reality that all she’s done has been a mistake. She breaks down and confesses to Pete that her feelings for Jordan and her family are stronger.

After I had my son I needed something to do for myself. So, I started to write. Five years and one daughter later, I gave it my best shot. Compiled of memories of days before life actually had to start. For all those who listened, this is for you guys!
