About the Book
A series of letters to and from dad are weaved into the story; Jason writes not only to Santa, but to PRESIDENT BUSH and even a LETTER TO GOD asking for help to bring his dad home.
Letters From Jason shows how a military family deals with the parting of a loved one sent (deployed) overseas during a time of war-a timeless story that families have had to deal with time and time again as loved ones are separated by war. (Time period 20052007)
This story portrays how 7-year-old Jason reacts as he misses and needs his father.
Though classified as fiction, the story is based on truth. Twelve truths of the story are listed at the end of the book. This story will touch the hearts and souls of the American people as they are living in an uncertain and dangerous time, unprecedented in history and it seems to be escalating.
About the Author
Jean was born in Los Angeles California, and now lives in Oceanside, California. In college she met and married USC Trojan quarterback, Rudy Bukich, who also played 14 years in the NFL (8 years with the Chicago Bears). In the 1980?s, as a single mom of 4 children, she formed KN World Productions producing music and stories for family entertainment. ?Letters from Jason? is her first book. She attended BYU in Provo, Utah and UCI Irvine, California. She has a degree in teaching.
