Sara Charm's serendipitous adventures are a modern-day fairytale! Wearing magical dance slippers she travels back into time and uncovers the mystery of her Great Grandma, Katie O'Charm, an Irish fairy. Sara's shoes whisk her back to 1925 Ireland, 1910 Russia and 1955 Cuba.
Wearing Irish Jig shoes she performs an Irish Step dance to her Papa's fiddling in the village pub. Tying on ballet slippers transforms her into the prima ballerina in the Russian Folk Tales drama. Clicking the heels of a pair of Latin pumps she feels her body swaying to the rhythms of a tango tune dancing Flamenco.
Discovering that she is a fairy is only half of her story. It is only half of yours too! Order the unique instructional dance video and you too can learn to dance! Meet Sara! She will show you how step by step. It's fun and exciting! Order at www.sarandipitous.com.

About the Author

First time authors Andra Beames and Lou Ann Hitchens have created a serendipitous discovery for their readers. Using a lifetime of Fine Arts training, the sisters developed a novel approach to encourage reading. With each chapter the child is taught a dance step using the interactive DVD video. Andra, a public school teacher specializing in World Geography, studied at the American Academy of Dramatics Arts in NYC. Lou Ann has enjoyed an award-winning career in the field of publishing and attended Ringling School of Arts in Sarasota, FL. The real star of their reading concept is Sarah Beames, Andra's daughter, while motivating children to read, her delightful wit and charm encourages them to experience the joy of dance.
