About the Author

By way of a brief biography, I have received degrees in Creative Writing and English from Clearwater High School and Critical Thinking and English from the Fashion Institute of Los Angeles. I have also been an article writing consultant at Zachary Ramsey Publishing Company in New Orleans, Louisiana since the year 2001. Being a New Orleans native and having traveled around the country and overseas extensively; I have been exposed to many different cultures and third world traditions. These encounters have contributed immensely to the subject matter of the complete text.

Having survived Hurricane Katrina and losing everything like so many others I now find myself on a new journey. New York is where my family and I have found shelter and we are faced with many challenges. Yet, even in the face of such instant change and mandatory adjustment to a new culture, we endure as I dedicate this text to those who didn?t make it. For their very lifestyle and the essence of the way they lived their lives have contributed to the ambience of the backdrop of this tale, having been written years before the storm. This is what I have left to give you of what once was and may never be again.
