About the Book

Now is the time to tell my story.

Mom and Dad passed away, Freddy Mercury, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Garcia and a couple of the Beach Boys are all gone to another place. Mr. Luckys closed down, since opening in 1965. My kids are grown up now.

At 15 I was 110 lbs. The following year I started taking Judo and jumped to 138 lbs. And the next year up to 155 lbs.

At 17, I joined the US Navy. Working out 8–10 hours a day, with 6 meals a day, I went from 165 to 215. I looked like Hercules. After the Navy I worked at Mr. Luckys, the number 1 Night Club in Arizona.
