Restore the Joy is a collection of inspirational poetry and prayers. The despairing tears of hopelessness may be transformed into the contentment of renewed hope and renewed hope into the assurance of knowing God is the center and the source of our Joy. This book is intended to uplift, inspire, and enliven the spirit of all who seek the discovery of Joy, and the fulfillment of His wondrous and abiding love.

About the Author

Doris M. Batson, writing poetry of hope and compassion are the messages she inspires to write. Her work is refreshingly uplifting to all who seek a desire to find the inner fulfillment and discovery of Joy. Aside from being a prolific writer of inspirational poetry, she is also a musician and an arts educator as well. She has one daughter, Brittany DeVonne Batson, and resides currently in her hometown of Tyler, Texas.

Rev. P.R. Moore, currently serves as pastor of the Mr. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Big Sandy, Texas. As a pastor and minister, his inspiration and passion dwells in studying, teaching and ministering the word of the gospel. Although this book is his first published work, he has written many unpublished writings of sermons, prayers, and poetry as well. He is married and has three children, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
