About the Book

A unique collection of previously published work, Beautiful Days showcases Vernagene Vogelzang's writing, in both essay and poem form. Some selections share treasured memories while others offer insight, narrative, and opinions about her life in California's Central Valley.

About the Author

Vernagene Vogelzang, a freelance writer and photographer, earned a bachelor of arts degree in history and an advanced degree in education from the University of California, Berkeley. She has lived in California?s Central Valley for over forty years.
