About the Book

"You can't beat the system, but you can win a game!"
-"Hub" Smith (Kris Kristofferson) in Alan J. Pacula's "Rollover".

In this partially autobiographical book, PROPHECY: Beach Blanket BINGO, this quote takes on a meaning to see life in the guise of a game. Also given Biblical references, the readers of PROPHECY: Beach Blanket BINGO are directed in the guide through movie-watching from many sixties' films and "ideal standards" to improve their own lives through reflective self-awareness. The author has embarked on the continuation to share of autobiographical reporting that occurred since he wrote his previous work, NOW: Wasn't He Mr. Right for Mr. Wrong? regarding his life with his "near" partner, his unforgettable fiance who died from an "accidental overdose". Bryce was an aspiring poet and huge Bob Dylan fan. Mr. Risoli-Black has also directed some low-budget films. With the Biblical references, the movie quotes and commentary, along with "end time" conspiracy theories, this guide becomes a kaleidoscopic vision of a life alone and shared.

About the Author

Vincent Risoli-Black holds a B.A. degree in English from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and stayed on to live there for 23 years. He has worked as a newspaper reporter, typographer, film-maker and a clerk in a record company. It was the curious diagnosis of bipolar disorder that required treatment with rather large doses of Haldol and lithium in Pittsburgh and now the absences of those medications (as noted by Bryce Davis Black, Jr., the author?s now deceased fiance) that those drugs were not necessary. He has returned to New Jersey to live on the beach and write from where he originated.
