Y is a fictional novel narrated by a fresh graduate that recently moved to Maui with his best friend and the girl he loves. But post-college life is not all he thought it would be, and after a particularly heartbreaking moment, the narrator is compelled to sit down with his laptop and recount his life in an effort to answer why he is where he is.

What follows is a story of sex, drugs, rock n' roll, and philosophical conversations that explores the mind behind a young man that is just coming into his own. With adventures that travel through Boston, London, and the Pacific, Y is a modernist tale for the new generation.

About the Author

Tom Mitchel completed his first novel when he was 23-years-old and shortly after began selling self-printed copies on various street corners throughout the country. He currently lives in Boston where he is working on his next literary masterpiece.
