About the Author

Michele Lewis, M.Ed., has been a high school English teacher for more than eleven years in Maine and Colorado. In 2003, as a single mom, she pursued her dream of becoming a published author by cashing in her retirement, taking a year off from teaching, and writing the first draft of this book.
