About the Book

All Katherine wanted was for someone to love her someone to make her feel worthy of being loved.

Her difficult childhood started her on a path of searching for that person; her adult life was spent journeying through numerous attempts to discover that special someone; her soul mate.

Katherine's journey took her from her roots in Tennessee, north to Michigan during the automotive boom in hopes of saving her first marriage.

Though Katherine appeared to be fragile and unstable, her courage and toughness astounded everyone who knew her. She was absolutely at her best in the worst of times.

She struggled through bad marriages and worse divorces as her quest made her act on impulse, repeat mistakes and suffer the ache of loneliness. However, when she experienced the blissfulness of being wanted, it was all worth it.

Katherine will take you on a journey through the heights of a full heart and the depths of an empty soul; she will make you wonder, she will make you cry; in the end, she will make you smile.

Linda F. Beasley is the author of Christmas Apple, a copywrited poem, and A sonnet for Rachel, printed in the National Library of Poetry, Edge of Twilight, Editors Choice Award. Originally from Tennessee, she lives in Michigan with her husband of thirty-five years, along with her two sons.
